Cancellation & Payment Policy

At The Primary Learning Room, I understand that family life can be unpredictable and plans sometimes change. My cancellation policy aims to be fair and flexible while ensuring that tuition spaces are managed effectively.

1:1 Tuition

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if your child is unable to attend a scheduled session.

  • With 24 hours’ notice or more, the session can be rearranged, subject to availability, or refunded.
  • With less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation charge of up to the full session fee (£40) may apply where the reserved time cannot reasonably be filled.
  • In cases of unexpected illness or exceptional circumstances, cancellations will be considered individually.

Small-Group Tuition

Small-group places are reserved for individual children, and sessions will normally continue if one child is absent.

  • Please give as much notice as possible if your child cannot attend.
  • Missed group sessions are not normally refundable where the place has been reserved and cannot reasonably be filled.
  • Where possible, I may provide a brief summary of the learning covered.

Cancellation by The Primary Learning Room

If I need to cancel a session, an alternative appointment will be offered. If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, a full refund or credit will be provided.

Payments

Tuition fees are payable in advance of sessions. Payment arrangements will be confirmed when booking.
